12 to 15 fresh spearmint leaves, plus a sprig for garnish
2 fluid ounces Bourbon
1 teaspoon superfine sugar
1 fluid ounce club soda
Place mint, sugar, and a few drops bourbon in a chilled silver cup or glass mug. Muddle leaves with sugar by pressing with a pestle or a wooden spoon until fragrant and sugar dissolves. Add ice and pour in remaining bourbon; stir to combine. Top off drink with club soda. Garnish with mint sprig and serve.
