My favorite cheese on a board is the soft cheese, and usually the Brie. The flavor is only intensified when made into brittle with this new hack seen online. I’ve shared a fun dip to make the cheese board portable. Grab some brittle bites and some dip and a plate and curl up for a movie with a fun new snack!

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Cut a shallow slice through the rind halfway along the curved edge of each slice of Brie. Place the Brie slices on a microwave-safe plate lined with parchment paper. Microwave until they turn slightly golden and puff up, 1 to 3 minutes, depending on your microwave strength. Allow them to cool.
  2. In a small saucepan on medium-low heat, add the fig jam, orange juice, raisins, vinegar, thyme and a small pinch of salt. Cook until the raisins are tender, 5 to 8 minutes. Serve warm, at temperature or chilled with the prepared Brie bite brittles.
