Gingerbread Showdown: Best in Show

Holiday memories are special, and snow globes are the perfect way to capture them, so host Jesse Palmer challenges the teams to create holiday memory snow globe scenes in gingerbread. And because a snow globe is nothing without snow, they must also make a treat using the most common baking ingredient to represent snow -- coconut! Judges Nacho Aguirre, Kardea Brown and Breegan Jane pick the winning team.

Gingerbread Showdown: Hangin' with My Gnomies at the Holidays

Which magical creatures love a good holiday party? Gnomes! Host Jesse Palmer challenges three teams of bakers to create a gingerbread scene depicting gnomes hangin' for the holidays. To make these Scandinavian friends feel more at home, the teams also have to create a cardamom dessert to go with their scene. Judges Nacho Aguirre, Kardea Brown and Breegan Jane decide which team wins the competition.

Friendsgiving

To highlight Friendsgiving, host Jesse Palmer asks the remaining 10 bakers to create flavor friends desserts designed to make a seasonal flavor pairing shine. Holiday Goodie Games

Host Jesse Palmer asks the 10 bakers to highlight a nut or seed in a holiday dessert. Then, the competitors spin a wheel to determine which fundamental holiday ingredient -- holiday spice, dried fruit or holiday spirits -- they must add to unseasonable desserts, like icebox cakes or fruit tarts. Judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall make the call on which bakers pull it off.

Attitude of Gratitude

In a holiday pantry raid, host Jesse Palmer throws open the cupboards and the Mason jars to ask the nine remaining bakers to create canned fruit desserts. In the main heat, judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Carla Hall are in for a treat when the competitors create heartfelt messages on top of everyone's favorite Thanksgiving dessert -- pie! In the end, one baker goes home.

Thanksgiving It My All

Apple cider doughnuts are a sure sign of fall, so in the first round, Jesse Palmer asks the eight bakers to create a dozen kicked-up apple cider doughnuts decorated with seasonal themes. Then the bakers must transform a classic holiday yule log into a festive Thanksgiving roll cake, and judges Nancy Fuller, Duff Goldman and Lorraine Pascale decide which competitor's cake falls short.

Summer "Fruitastic"

One of the best things about summer is the fruit stands that pop up when the weather gets warm, so host Jesse Palmer challenges the bakers to make a cobbler, crumble or clafoutis using the bounty of the fruit stand. Then, the bakers must make watermelon desserts that taste AND look like a watermelon before judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips send another competitor home.

Summer Celebrations

With Father's Day around the corner, host Jesse Palmer is on the hunt to find great gifts for Dad! He challenges the bakers to get fired up with grill pan desserts for Dad, complete with grill marks! June is also Pride Month for the LGBTQ+ communities, so the bakers celebrate with bold rainbow desserts that will make judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips proud.

Beach Day

Host Jesse Palmer is ready to feel the sand beneath his toes and smell the ocean because today is beach day! He tasks the bakers with capturing that coastal vibe by serving up beach drink trifles! Then when the sun starts to get too hot, the bakers try to avoid a scorching elimination by serving judges Carla Hall, Duff Goldman and Damaris Phillips refreshing summer cream pies.

Who Do You Love?

Host Jesse Palmer welcomes 12 bakers to the Spring Baking kitchen, where they are challenged to prove their passion by using their unique skills to recreate the dessert that sparked their initial love for baking. Then, the bakers must impress judges Duff Goldman, Kardea Brown and Nancy Fuller with "berry" good cakes that illustrate everything they love to do in spring with a special loved one.
