Robert Hosts The Globe

As someone who spends more than 300 days per year traveling, Robert knows a thing or two about exploring — and eating in — some of the world's best food cities.

Judges Unite

Guest Bricia Lopez joins Daniela Soto-Innes to oversee a stop in Oaxaca City, where chefs must use local ingredients and time-honored tools to bring their dishes to life.

Friends and Foes

Meet the contestants of the first episode: Chefs Deborah de Corral, Rogelio Garcia, Gina Marinelli and Brandon Gray will travel to Beijing, Accra and Tel Aviv during a whirlwind culinary adventure. But only one will earn top honors.

Careful Execution

To impress the judges, chefs must show their ability to utilize traditional ingredients in perhaps non-traditional ways.

Welcome to Beijing

Thanks to the massive screen on set, chefs and viewers alike will feel like they're completely immersed in a new city every round. First up, it's Beijing, China, a whopping 6,000 miles away.

Mission: Hot Pot

True to the history of Beijing, chefs will be challenged to utilize the hot pot when making their Round 1 meal.

Welcome to Accra

Chef Eric Adjepong is set to guest-judge this round, and he tells us there are five ingredients that make up authentic dishes in Accra: peanuts, habanero peppers, rice, plantains and corn.

Tasting from Afar

Though you may not be able to travel to these faraway locales anytime soon, you can surely learn more about the flavors and customs for which they're known.

Welcome to Kyoto

Thanks to the fully immersive screen on set, Kyoto, Japan, comes to life in all its gorgeous glory.

Authentic Ingredients

Feast your eyes on just a few of the items chefs will be able to work with while visiting Kyoto.
