Check it out! The Kitchen has an easy fall-themed dessert-decorating idea that's perfect for bake sales or treats for the kiddos. We're turning plain old brownies into adorable Pumpkin Patch Brownies.

To dress up your average brownies to look like the perfect little fall pumpkin patch, you'll need the following:

  • 1 dozen chocolate-frosted brownies
  • 2 large shredded wheat biscuits
  • Nonstick cooking spray or coconut cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
  • One 20-ounce package candy pumpkins

To start, you'll need your favorite frosted brownies, which can be store-bought or homemade. Next, make the 'hay' by crumbling up the shredded wheat in a medium bowl and spritzing it with cooking spray. Toss it around a bit to coat lightly, then add the brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice and use your hands or a spoon to toss and coat the shredded wheat.

Pat the shredded wheat mixture on top of the frosting on the brownies and top with the candy pumpkins. These brownies are so cute, they're guaranteed to win at the next bake sale!
