Spiced Up Snacks
Add a little kick to your snack break!

Since we're all grazing on snacks these days, it's time for a new segment we like to call Amazing Graze… spicy snack edition! The Kitchen hosts are trying some spicy snacks and ranking how hot they are on our spice-o-meter.

The hosts started by trying some sriracha peas. These crunchy green peas are coated in chile-garlic sriracha seasoning. The hosts loved the sriracha flavor, but didn't think they landed too high on the spice-o-meter. They all agreed that these peas are not as spicy as the well-known wasabi peas, but still have a little kick. Sunny ranks them as "A Medium Punch" on our spice-o-meter.

The next spicy snack was kimchi BBQ pork rinds. The Korean-inspired kimchi flavor is both sour and spicy, and adds a little more kick to these BBQ pork rinds. The hosts gave them a try and loved both the texture and the kimchi BBQ flavor. Where do they rank on the spice-o-meter? Since they only have a mild spice, Sunny ranks them at "Mild but Wild," but says you could add a little hot sauce to them to take them up a notch to "A Medium Punch."

Our last spicy snack was chile potato sticks. These are Italian-style potato sticks flavored with chile seasoning. The hosts tasted them and the verdict was unanimous—they are delicious! They commented on the nice crunchy texture and the slightly sweet flavor, but all agreed that these didn't pack a lot of heat. Sunny ranks these at the bottom of the spice-o-meter at "Just a Little Kick," perfect for someone who doesn't like too much spice.
