Your Tailgate Is Missing These Football-Shaped Crackers

We’re in the thick of football season, which means we’re in the thick of tailgate season — with big-game watch parties coming right up. All of this means we’re also figuring out what to serve at those tailgate and watch parties.
Ritz is offering a new item for toting to the tailgate or putting out for guests (or devouring yourself) in the comfort of your own home: limited-edition football-shaped crackers.
What are Ritz football-shaped crackers?
They’re original Ritz crackers in terms of color and texture, but rather than being round with serrated edges, they’re a pointy-ended oblong shape, like a football, with smooth edges. They have the traditional Ritz indentations, but these ones also include a cross-hatched football-lace design in the middle.
As for taste, they deliver the “same salty, buttery-flavored experience fans love in a playful new shape,” the brand says in a press release.
Ritz adds that the crackers will “score big on snack spreads, at future tailgates and football watch party gatherings alike.”
Where can you get the new football-shaped Ritz crackers?
The limited-edition crackers will be available at retail stores nationwide starting Monday, December 1. And, since they’ll be available only for a limited time, football fans will want to kick into gear and grab them now, before they’re gone.
