Aldi Just Released Green, Boozy Cheeses for St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick’s Day is just around the corner and Aldi’s got the goods that will have you feeling lucky. The affordable supermarket chain, which has already blessed us with wine and cheese advent calendars and heart-shaped cheeses, is upping its holiday dairy game with its new St. Patrick’s Day Collection.
Available starting February 27, Aldi’s Irish-themed assortment includes five new cheeses, which range from the green to the boozy (yes, you read that right). The Happy Farms Preferred Irish Cheese Truckle Assortment includes three new treats imported from the Emerald Isle: The Aged Irish Cheddar, the Irish Cheddar with Beer and the Irish Cheddar with Whiskey. The latter two are both infused with actual alcohol for a St. Patty’ Day snack that will really have you buzzing.
Additionally, you can (sham)rock your St. Patrick’s Day celebration with the Happy Farms Preferred Pesto Gouda and the English Sage Derby — both of which are a cheery shade of Kelly green.
All varieties are available in stores for $3.99 per cheese — so there’s definitely enough in that pot of gold to purchase more than one. And if you’re not sure what to do with all that fromage, might we suggest an Irish grilled cheese?
