This Accessory Makes the Most Beautiful Instant Pot Brownie
And Facebook’s Instant Pot Community can’t get enough.
Let’s face it, brownies aren’t the prettiest desserts. Don’t get us wrong; we love brownies. Crunchy edges and gooey centers, they are a chocolatey dessert that maybe don't get as much love as we should. Part of that might come down to visual presentation. Present a beautifully frosted cake or cupcakes with adorable toppers, and it’s hard to make that stack of fudgy squares the centerpiece of your dessert spread. Well, that is until now.
Enter: the chrysanthemum silicone mold that fits in the Instant Pot.
If you’ve ever made brownies or brownie bites in the Instant Pot before, the shiny exterior probably doesn’t surprise you. If you’re not privy to this method of baking, let us say, don’t be shocked. It’s normal for Instant Pot brownies to look super fudgy and gooey, and, in this instance especially, we think it adds to the beauty of the dish.
You can create your own brownie flower easily with the help of a silicone mold. While there isn’t a specific recipe, many members of the Instant Pot Community Facebook page claim to use a boxed mix for their masterpiece. They pour the boxed mix into the mold, cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Once done, you let the Instant Pot naturally release for 10 minutes before quick-releasing the remaining pressure. Once cooled, you can remove the brownie from the mold and enjoy.
Just search for brownies on the Instant Pot Community page, and you'll be flooded with inspiration for how to adorn this work of art. Whether you top with a caramel glaze or simply enjoy it plain, you’re sure to have a jaw-dropping dessert presentation that is (almost) too beautiful to eat.
