Bourbon Sweet Potatoes

6 sweet potatoes, boiled until fork tender and peeled

1/2 cup fine aged Kentucky bourbon whiskey

2 eggs, beaten

1/2 cup pecans, chopped

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons butter

1/4 teaspoon grated cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon grated nutmeg


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all of the ingredients with an electric mixer at a medium speed until smooth. Pour all of the ingredients into a well oiled baking dish. Bake, lightly covered with foil, for 45 minutes.
