  1. Cut 1 pound refrigerated pizza dough into 1-inch pieces. Roll into balls. Deep-fry in 350 degrees F vegetable oil, turning as needed, until golden, about 5 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain. Sprinkle generously with confectioners' sugar.
