2/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon ground flax seeds
1 tablespoon honey
1 medium ripe banana
1/2 ripe avocado
1 cup ice cubes
1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
1 pre-cooked beet, diced
1 cup diced frozen mango, thawed
1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 cup frozen green grapes
1/2 cup kale leaves
1/2 cup diced pineapple
1 1/2 cups frozen blueberries, thawed
For the banana-avocado smoothie base: Put the almond milk, flax seeds, honey, banana and avocado in a blender. Blend on high until the mixture is mostly smooth, about 1 minute. Add the ice cubes and blend until completely smooth.
To make it pink, yellow, green or purple: Add the color additions and blend again until completely smooth.
