4 cups plus 16 whole almonds blanched
4 cups milk, plus more
4 cups simple syrup (equal parts water and sugar brought to a boil and chilled)
2 vanilla beans
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup water
1 pound unsalted butter
This is really and garnish for our hot chocolate oozing tart. It reminds me of the flavor of a good Humor Toasted Almond bar. The spikes make it look menacing.
