Are Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’s Really Making a Comeback?
Nine years after the candy went away, rumors of its return are rife.

Nine years after they went away, in 2015, Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’s are making a comeback, according to reports.
The return of the late, lamented candy variety, which was initially introduced as part of a movie promotion in 2009, was first reported on the trend-spotting Instagram account CandyHunting.
According to that account, the new version of Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’s will make their debut at the National Association of Convenience Stores trade show, which takes place in Las Vegas in October.
“They have a flavored peanut butter filling, similar to the Strawberried Peanut Butter M&M's from 2009,” CandyHunting dished, alongside a mockup of the packaging design.
Responding to an inquiry from Food Network, Mars Wrigley, which makes M&M’s, declined to confirm the rumored return of Peanut Butter & Jelly M&M’s. The company did, however, note that it was “constantly keeping a pulse on consumer trends to give fans what they crave” and promised to follow up “soon” with more news about its “latest innovations.”
Noted. But longtime PB&J M&M’s fans are not waiting for official confirmation to get excited about the candy comeback.
“Finally!🔥 I’ve dreamt of this flavor for a real long time. Dreams do come true!” wrote one commenter responding to the CandyHunting post.
“FINALLY THEYRE COMING BACK!!! I’ve missed the strawberried peanut butter ones every single day since they were discontinued 😭😭😭😭” wrote another.
“LFG! I’ve been wanting something like these ever since I discovered the Strawberried Peanut Butter ones used to exist back in the day,” a third shared.
A fourth said, simply, “You have made my day! 🔥”
