Britney Spears Just Made the "Meanest Sandwich Known to Mankind"
It's a combination of turkey, chicken, goat cheese, avocado, pears and pecans!

Britney Spears’ musical talents are well-known, and as it turns out the Grammy winning singer is also quite the sandwich connoisseur. The “Toxic” songstress took to Instagram on April 26 to share a video of herself whipping up one of her favorite sandwiches and the post has been viewed nearly four million times.
“I recreated the meanest sandwich 🥪 known to mankind !!!!,” she declared in the caption. “Now where’s my trophy 🏆?”
According to Spears, the sandwich she crafted was a recreation of a similar sandwich she used to get on trips to New York City about 15 years ago from a chain called Schlotzsky's. Though Schlotzsky's no longer has any locations in New York, there are outposts in several other states across the country.
Spears said this specific sandwich is “literally God to me” and noted she’s been searching for it ever since. With that in mind, the Crossroads star decided to make one on her own “for the summer.”
She also mentioned that this video includes a recipe for her “first delicacy sandwich,” which implies that fans may soon see another Spears sandwich clip in the future.
Per Spears’ tutorial, the sandwich is bookended by her “favorite” bread — artisan ciabatta. The filling includes chopped almonds (which Spears later clarified were pecans) mixed with crumbled goat cheese along with shredded cooked chicken and turkey. The flavorful meal also includes sliced avocado, lettuce and, according to Spears, “sheared pear.”
“You would think that would be really odd, it looks like fish but it’s not,” she explained. “It’s very, very, sweet and it adds a really different taste to the sandwich.”
When she was finished, Spears acknowledged her sandwich was “tiny,” but added that “a little goes a long way” with this meal, especially during the summer.
On Tuesday, the “Circus” singer took to Instagram once more after apparently realizing that Schlotzsky's is still alive and well. “THERE IS A GOD 🌅 🙏🏼☁️⛪️…. Good news @schlotzskys STILL EXISTS folks .... Life will be ok now 🥪🙌🏼✨☀️ !!!!!,” she gushed. “Psss I HAD NO IDEA 🙊🙊🙊 !!!!!”
While Schlotzsky's hasn’t yet responded to Food Network’s request for a comment, the chain’s official Instagram did acknowledge Spears’ post and seemingly implied that she could order one of her beloved sandwiches at any time. “The QUEEN has spoken. Sandwich is being made RIGHT NOW, @britneyspears!,” the caption read, alongside a video of a different sandwich being assembled. “Name the time & place, and we’ll be there. 👑🥪🧡.”
