They say not to mess with success, but we think an exception can be made if it means combining sugar, cinnamon and butter.

Kerrygold, the premium Irish dairy brand, has introduced a Cinnamon & Sugar version of its famous butter. The 3.5-ounce sticks are made with the same grass-fed milk as the classic product, with the addition of cinnamon, nutmeg and brown sugar. Sounds pretty great to us.

“The new Kerrygold Cinnamon & Sugar Butter Sticks embodies our commitment to combining tradition with innovation, delivering flavors that evoke warmth and comfort in every bite,” Kelly Harfoot, Senior Brand Manager, Ornua Foods North America, says in a press release. “By offering a fresh twist on a nostalgic flavor combination, we’ve carefully crafted this butter to elevate everyday culinary experiences.”

You can use the butter to liven up your toast or desserts, round out a cheese board or even add some oomph to savory dishes like vegetables or ribs. For a throwback, we think it would make an amazing butter board, too. Or, take it in a swicy (sweet and spicy) direction and add some chiles to the mix. For even more ideas, we asked Food Network test kitchen’s recipe developers what they would make with it.

Pork and apples is a classic combination, and one that I make often in the cooler months, says lead recipe developer Amanda Neal. I would toss the butter with the sauteed apples for a little richness, warmth and sweetness to pair with the savory pork. I would also totally cook French toast with this butter. It already has all the flavors that I want and expect in French toast, and it would really boast up the nutty, cinnamon flavor throughout!

Recipe developer Andy Liang also thought of apples first.

When we make an apple pie, we sometimes dot with butter over the mixed apples covered in flour, he says. We could swap that with the cinnamon sugar butter for extra pop of flavor. I also wonder how it would do in a pie dough. Or adding to roasted vegetables like sweet potato or butternut squash for a sweet and salty moment.

Kerrygold Cinnamon & Sugar Butter Sticks are now available nationwide. You can use the brand’s store locator to find a retailer near you.
