These 4 New Krispy Kreme Doughnuts Scream Fall — And None of Them Are Pumpkin Spice

Pumpkin spice has been the defining fall flavor for several years now, with countless brands and restaurants releasing pumpkin spice treats to signal the start of the season. While Krispy Kreme brought back its Pumpkin Spice collection in August, its newest doughnuts prove that pumpkin spice doesn’t have to monopolize autumn menus.
Today, Krispy Kreme announced its all-new Fall Fair Collection. The four new doughnuts are inspired by classic fair foods, teleporting you into a world of hayrides and apple bobbing.
“There are so many fun fall outdoor activities, but when it comes to fall flavors, perhaps none is tastier and more nostalgic than classic fall fair treats,” Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme’s Chief Brand and Product Officer says in a press release. “These prize-worthy doughnuts transport you to the midway, no ticket required. So ... step right up!”
What are Krispy Kreme’s Fall Fair doughnut flavors?
The Fall Fair Collection is available for a limited time at participating Krispy Kreme locations starting September 15. The collection includes:
- Cotton Candy Doughnut: An original glazed doughnut topped with blue icing and cotton candy-flavored sugar, a swirl of strawberry icing and a dollop of cotton candy-flavored buttercreme.
- Kreme Puff Doughnut: An unglazed ring doughnut with a Kreme swirl and powdered sugar coating, topped with a Doughnut Dot (one of Krispy Kreme’s bite-sized doughnut holes).
- Blue Ribbon Apple Pie Doughnut: An unglazed shell doughnut with an apple-cinnamon filling, topped with caramel-flavored icing, cinnamon cookie crumbs and a white icing drizzle.
- Caramel Churro Doughnut: A crunchy cinnamon-sugar doughnut drizzled with caramel-flavored icing.
