Krispy Kreme Is Starting Pumpkin Spice Season Earlier Than Ever
Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnuts return on August 11 — but only for one week.

August is all about beaches, barbecues and lazy days at the pool — not to mention standing directly in front of the AC to catch the cool. Lately, it’s also, counterintuitively, about getting the first taste of autumn’s signature flavor: Pumpkin Spice Latte.
This year, Krispy Kreme is kicking off Pumpkin Spice season earlier than ever. It’s bringing back its beloved Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut for one full week — starting Monday, August 11 and extending through Sunday, August 17. (Krispy Kreme’s first taste of Pumpkin Spice is also arriving weeks ahead of Starbucks PSLs, which will return on August 26, 2025.)
For those keeping track, the doughnut chain’s Pumpkin Spice season teaser is both earlier and longer than last year, when the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnuts were brought back for three days,

Described by the brand as featuring “just the right touch of pumpkin spice and a melt‑in‑your‑mouth finish,” Krispy Kreme’s Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut will be available both individually and by the dozen. It can be ordered in‑shop and for pickup or delivery via Krispy Kreme’s app and website.
“Pumpkin spice fans are counting down the days to their favorite season and we’re happy to kick it off by bringing back our Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut – earlier and for a longer period. But it won’t be around long,” Alison Holder, Krispy Kreme chief brand and product officer says in a press release.
“Let Pumpkin Spice Season begin!” Holder added.

Alongside the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut, three other Pumpkin Spice menu items will also make their seasonal debut at Krispy Kreme. Unlike the Pumpkin Spice Original Glazed Doughnut, these items will not disappear again after a week, but will rather remain on the menu throughout the fall.
The three items are the Original Glazed Pumpkin Spice Cake Doughnut (“a pumpkin spice-tastic take on the classic cake doughnut”), a Pumpkin Spice Latte (“made to order hot, iced or frozen, topped with a swirl of whipped cream and a dusting of pumpkin spice seasoning”) and a Pumpkin Spice Coffee, which can be ordered either hot or cold.
