KitchenAid Just Announced the 2022 Color of the Year — And It's Beautiful!

When KitchenAid launched their color of the year last year, they kept it comforting with the golden-orange hue 'Honey'. This year, the brand is adding richness and vibrancy with their 2022 color, Beetroot. Starting today, February 10, KitchenAid's K400 Blender and Artisan Stand Mixer are available in this new color, and we think either one will add a perfect pop of color to your countertop.

According to a brand representative, the color is supposed to remind us, "to break out of our routines and see the familiar with a new lens." Beetroot is a shiny, magenta-inspired shade that, "represents the richness found in our daily lives and reflects the vibrancy of everyday moments."

Beyond bringing some color to your home kitchen, Beetroot is a great reminder of the shade's namesake vegetable. Beets and beetroot are often overlooked, but they're a versatile, vibrant ingredient that's perfect for winter cooking. KitchenAid is also celebrating their newest color with a seriously sweet partnership.
