Bio

Emily Saladino is a journalist and recipe developer with more than 15 years of food and beverage experience. Previously a culinary editor at Food Network, her writing has been published in The New York Times, The Washington Post, Bloomberg, Bon Appetit, Food and Wine, BBC, New York Magazine, and many others. She reviews wines from Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Hungary, and Lebanon for Wine Enthusiast, where she works as a writer at large. She is also a contributing editor at Imbibe and a member of Les Dames d'Escoffier and Circle of Wine Writers.

Experience

Prior to working as a writer and editor, Emily was a cook and bartender in New York City for six years. She has also been an editorial assistant to a literary agent and edited food and travel content for Google.

Education

Emily graduated from the French Culinary Institute (now known as the Institute of Culinary Education), a professional culinary arts program that consists of 650 instructional hours. She also holds Level 2 wine certification from the Wine and Spirits Education Trust.
