Food photographer and cookbook author Jackie Alpers has been a contributor to the Food Network since 2013. With a focus on regional culinary influences, Alpers dives into the history, symbolism, and cultural significance of food. From the Sonoran cuisine of southern Arizona to the art and science of sprinkles (aka "Sprinkology"), her expertise is vast.

Jackie Alpers is the author of four cookbooks; Taste of Tucson: Sonoran-Style Recipes Inspired by the Rich Culture of Southern Arizona, The Unofficial Yellowstone Cookbook, The Unofficial Elf Cookbook, and Sprinkles!: Recipes and Ideas for Rainbowlicious Desserts.

Alpers has won dozens of food photography awards, including awards from American Photography, Taste Photography, Pink Lady and the Muse Photography Award.
