Staci Perry
Staci Perry is a home baker, writer, storyteller and story listener, photographer, and a full-time corporate communications professional. She serves on the Brookings Chamber Foundation Board, the South Dakota State University Journalism and Mass Communications advisory board, and she is vice president/treasurer of the Brookings Area Chamber Board of Directors.
With an appreciation for down-home baking she shares simple, comfort food recipes on her blog Random Sweetness Baking with a side of random sweetness and a dash or two of sarcasm. Staci caters decadent desserts, mostly cheesecake, to local weddings, graduations, and fundraising galas. Her teenagers are shocked when she bakes and the goodies are for them. Her writing and photography has been published in South Dakota Magazine, Edina Magazine, Wholesome, Foodgawker, Hungry for Truth, and DakotaChic.
Staci calls South Dakota and Minnesota home. She is working on a book proposal to write a cookbook she wants but can’t find on the shelf. Her motto is, “Relax, I made a cheesecake. I didn’t fold a fitted sheet.”
