Susan Puckett

Susan Puckett is the former food editor for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the author of Eat Drink Delta: A Hungry Traveler’s Journey Through the Soul of the South (University of Georgia Press, 2013). A native of Jackson, Mississippi, she has also written for Eating Well, Saveur, National Geographic Traveler, Better Homes and Gardens, The Local Palate, and many other publications. Her next book, Turnip Greens and Tortillas: A Mexican Chef Spices Up the Southern Kitchen, written with chef Eddie Hernandez of Taqueria del Sol restaurants, will be published by Houghton Mifflin Harcourt in May 2018. She lives in Decatur, Georgia.
