3 tablespoons butter

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 teaspoon lemon zest

3 bananas, peeled and sliced into 2 A thick diagonals

2 tablespoons rum

Vanilla ice cream


  1. Melt butter in skillet and stir in sugar and zest. Cook over medium high heat for 3 - 5 minutes stirring occasionally. When sugar has reached a caramel like consistency add bananas and cook for 3 minutes. Add rum and flambe. Serve over vanilla ice cream.
