Cherry Cola Kalimotxo

1 1/2 cups pitted sweet fresh cherries plus 8 whole fresh cherries with stems attached

One 750-milliliter bottle dry red wine 

2 ounces lemon juice 

Two 12-ounce cans natural cola 


  1. Blend 1 cup pitted cherries with the red wine until smooth. Strain, then add the lemon juice. Pour some of the strained cherry mixture into each ice-filled glass, top with cola and garnish with fresh cherries with stems.
