Spaghetti with Grape Tomato-Herb Sauce

Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

1 pound spaghetti

4 cups halved grape tomatoes

2 cups chopped mixed herbs, such as parsley, basil, dill, cilantro, chives, or scallions

3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil


  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the spaghetti and cook according to package directions. Reserve 3/4 cup of the pasta cooking water and then drain.
  2. Stir the tomatoes, herbs, oil, 1 teaspoon salt and a few grinds of pepper together in a large bowl. Stir in the pasta and 3/4 cup reserved pasta cooking water, adjust seasoning with salt and pepper and serve.
