Fruit French Toast

Fruit Sauce

1/2 cup blueberries

1/2 cup raspberries

1/2 cup strawberries

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup white wine

1/4 cup raspberry liqueur

French Toast:

2 large eggs

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 teaspoon almond extract

1 tablespoon cinnamon

1 tablespoon sugar

2 ounces heavy cream

4 slices baguette

4 tablespoons butter


  1. Cook the fruit, sugar, wine and liqueur for 15 minutes, then strain well. Add a little corn syrup for a thicker sauce.

French Toast:

  1. Mix together the eggs, vanilla, almond extract, cinnamon, sugar, and cream. Dip the bread in the mixture to coat thoroughly. Heat the butter in a pan over high heat, and cook the bread until golden brown on both sides. Serve with Fruit Sauce.
