The lemon drop is a cocktail that first came on the scene in the 1970s in San Francisco at Henry Africa's bar. This version is a blended drink that is perfect during the warmer months. It's balanced, refreshing and just sweet enough that anyone will enjoy!

Special equipment:
a high-powered blender
For the simple syrup: Add the sugar and 1 cup water to a small saucepan. Warm and stir over medium heat until the sugar has fully dissolved. Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Store leftover syrup in the refrigerator for future use.
For the lemon drop: Add the ice, vodka, Moscato, lemon juice and 2 ounces simple syrup to a high-powered blender and blend until very smooth. The ice should be like fine snow.
Pour into two glasses of choice. Serve with lemon slices.
