Our Very Best Peach Cobblers

Trisha uses canned peaches for this easy cobbler because they're softer, but you can use fresh peaches if they're available.

Baking mix and canned peaches are the keys to this ultra-easy peach cobbler that can be enjoyed any time of year. We love the rustic look of the cobbler in a cast-iron pan but you can also make it in a baking dish. Either way, a scoop of vanilla ice cream is the perfect topper.

In this classic southern-style peach cobbler, we layer the fruit on top of the batter before baking. In the oven, the sweet batter rises through the peaches, creating a light and airy cake-like topping. We left the peaches unpeeled, which adds a nice color and makes the recipe even easier. Serve it with vanilla ice cream for the perfect summer dessert.
