We love grocery products that really speak to our tastes. Think: Valentine’s Day heart-shaped cheeses, St. Patrick’s Day-themed cheeses and lobster roll dip that gave us a taste of summer vacation in March.

Aldi, a German supermarket chain that has taken the U.S. by storm, has figured out that we’re all baking a ton of bread (that part’s probably not to hard to ascertain, given that our feeds are flooded with people’s no-knead and sourdough masterpieces) — and that we’d love to have something to drink while doing it. (OK, maybe that part wasn’t so difficult to glean either.)

The grocery store chain has introduced a new sangria collection – the Moiselle Couture Collection White Sangria, Sweet Grapefruit Rosé and Sangria wines, which are now available at Aldi for a limited time for $4.49 a bottle – that, they note, pairs perfectly with the “snacktivities” so many of us are engaged in at this very moment.

For example, Sarah Tracey, Aldi’s sommelier partner and founder of Lush Life, suggests pairing the Moiselle Couture Collection White Sangria with sourdough bread baking, as well as snacking on chips and guacamole.

“Sifting, mixing, and kneading, bread making is definitely more pleasurable when you have a delicious beverage in hand!” Tracey notes, adding that the new White Sangria, which she describes as “crisp,” “vibrant,” “light” and “refreshing,” with “hints of lemon and lime,” is perfect enjoyed over ice as a bread-baking sip.

Meanwhile, Tracey advises pairing the Moiselle Couture Collection Sweet Grapefruit Rosé with an at-home spa day as well as fresh veggies and dill tzatziki dip. Slip into a soothing bath, surrounded by flickering candles and mood music, she suggests, and reach for a glass of wine in the midst of your moment of self-care, noting that “the crisp and light rosé wine is infused with the flavors of juicy grapefruit, bright tangerine and lush tropical fruit.”

On jigsaw puzzle night, try Moiselle Couture Collection Sangria along with fresh strawberries and Aldi’s Park Street Deli Brownie Batter Hummus to get into the “meditative” mood, Tracey counsels. “This is a red-wine-based beverage infused with hints of pineapple, orange, and peach – guaranteed to keep your taste buds dancing and turn puzzle night into a festive occasion,” she says.
