The Ohio-based brownie brand, Killer Brownie, is slated to undergo a rebrand and it’s time to get excited. Starting May 7, the brand will have an entirely new look with bright electric blue packaging and a rebellious font. Compared to its current more modest packaging, it’ll pop right off the shelf hopefully attracting more eyeballs, and taste buds. Alongside the packaging, Killer Brownie has a new motto “Live a Little.”
“The bakery aisle hasn’t seen a lot of change - and for a long time, that was just fine. But today’s consumer is looking for more,” said Chimene Mayne-Ross, founder and CEO of Killer Brownie, in a press release. “Killer Brownie is here to bring bold flavor, unapologetic indulgence, and a loud brand personality. We’re not just introducing something new - we’re making the bakery section a destination, giving people something they’ll be excited to seek out.”

If you've never heard of Killer Brownie before, then it's important to know they specialize in layered brownie creations and more traditional single flavors. Some popular flavors include confetti, cookie dough, triple chocolate, salted caramel and original. The original flavor is what put Killer Brownie on the map and that consists of layers of caramel, pecans and chocolate chips.
Up until this point, Killer Brownie could only be found in select retailers or purchased on Dorothy Lane’s website. But starting on May 7, shoppers can directly buy the brownies on Killer Brownie’s website and in person at 15,000 retail stores across the nation.
The expansion is largely a result of Killer Brownie joining Irresistible Food Group (IFG) in 2024 which has helped the once regional brand gain a more widespread consumer base across the United States.
“By combining bold marketing with dynamic in-store presence, we’re giving fans a new reason to get excited about dessert,” said Raouf Moussa, chief growth officer at Irresistible Foods Group, in a press release.
