Fan-Favorite Cinnamon Rolls Return to Krispy Kreme – But Only On Sundays
The once limited-time offering is now a permanent menu item.

There’s nothing like starting the day with a sweet, flaky cinnamon roll and a steaming cup of coffee. To that end, Krispy Kreme is finally bringing back its Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll, but there’s a catch: It’s only available on Sundays.
The Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll was originally a limited-time offering first released last September, but is now becoming a permanent menu item available at Krispy Kreme shops or online. On Sundays only, of course.
These hand-rolled, well, rolls, were an instant fan favorite, thanks to their light and airy Krispy Kreme doughnut-like texture, plus coating in Original Glaze. They have returned, thankfully, available individually or in a special four-pack.
“Our Original Glazed Cinnamon Roll was very well received when we introduced it last year for a limited time. When we get a fan reaction like that, we want to give them what they want. And there’s no cinnamon roll better than ours; hand-cut and covered in our iconic Original Glaze,” said Dave Skena, Chief Marketing Officer for Krispy Kreme, in a statement to the media.
Oh, well. If we had to choose one day a week to have a sweet, rich cinnamon roll, it would be Sunday. And, besides, there’s no rule we can’t buy a four-pack and freeze a few for a weekday morning.
