Need Valentine’s Day Plans? How About Snuggling Up with a Giant KFC Chicken Sandwich

KFC is bringing a whole new meaning to the term “comfort food.”
Targeted at fans of its chicken sandwiches, billed as its “biggest sandwich yet” and arriving just in time for Valentine’s Day, when lots of people are looking for someone (or something) to snuggle up with, the fried-chicken chain has just introduced a limited-edition, way bigger than life-size KFC Chicken Sandwich Snuggler.
Available exclusively — only while supplies last — via PillowPets.com and priced at $99.99, the gigantic stuffed pillow plushie clocks in at almost three-feet wide. And it really looks like a massive KFC Chicken Sandwich, with its picture-perfect double-breaded, Extra Crispy chicken breast filet; brioche bun; pickle slices; and slather of mayo.
The KFC Chicken Sandwich that inspired the Snuggler was introduced nationwide just over a year ago, in January 2021, and was an instant hit, quickly achieving what the brand has dubbed “fan favorite” status.
“We set a new standard for modern comfort food with the introduction of our KFC Chicken Sandwich last year,” Nick Chavez, chief marketing officer, KFC U.S., said in a news release. “Now fans can snuggle up with the sandwich they love the most thanks to our KFC Chicken Sandwich Snuggler!”
Cozy and cuddly, soft and slightly strange, the KFC Chicken Sandwich Snuggler is suitable for gifting to yourself or your favorite KFC Chicken Sandwich fan. However, the brand warns (we hope gratuitously), “while this chicken sandwich pillow looks so tasty that you'll want to take a bite, it doesn't actually taste like the real KFC Chicken Sandwich.”
Another warning, this one more necessary: KFC and Pillow Pets are making only a limited number of the KFC Chicken Sandwich Snugglers available — “Once they're gone, they're gone!” — so if you dream of snoozing or watching TV or doing anything else with a giant chicken sandwich pillow in your clutches, you’ll probably want to act fast.

It may be a bit easier to get your hands on a real KFC Chicken Sandwich. Along with the Snuggler’s release, KFC is launching two new KFC Chicken Sandwich meal deals, available for a limited time on the KFC app and KFC.com:
The Sandwiches and Sides meal includes four KFC Chicken Sandwiches and your choice of two large sides, and the Sandwiches and Tenders meal features four KFC Chicken Sandwiches, six Extra Crispy Tenders, two large sides, four biscuits and a half-gallon beverage bucket.
