Sixteen of the worst cooks in America, including a sportscaster, a feisty granny and a professional balloon artist, arrive at boot camp with dreams of putting their kitchen nightmares behind them. For the first main dish challenge, the mentors teach the recruits how to make the most important meal of the day, and the recruit on each team with the worst breakfast dish is sent home.
As soon the new cast of celebrity recruits arrive to Boot Camp, Anne and Rachael immediately throw them into their first challenge! To start off the final week in boot camp, the remaining recruits compete in a relay race that tests their speed, knowledge and skill in the kitchen. Then chefs Anne Burrell and Carla Hall teach their final two recruits how to make a three-course, restaurant-quality meal. For the last challenge, the two finalists put all their newly learned culinary skills to the test in order to impress a panel of culinary experts. Judges Adrienne Cheatham, JJ Johnson and George Mendes sample the recruits' dishes in a blind taste test and choose the winner of the $25,000 prize.
The final four celebrity recruits enter boot camp to find a sweet surprise! To kick things off, they play a dessert scramble game before they're tasked with making their own sweet parfaits. Then, things get competitive for the main dish challenge as chefs Anne Burrell and Tyler Florence challenge the final two recruits on each team to cook head-to-head to earn their spot in the finale. Each team is given an ingredient to use in a composed meal. The two recruits with the best dishes move onto the finale while the bottom two recruits say a bittersweet goodbye to boot camp.
The recruits swap their designer threads for aprons as they host their very own award-worthy afterparty. Once the party's over, it's time for the main dish challenge, where chefs Jeff Mauro and Tiffany Derry task their teams with crafting brunch burgers with fries and a Bloody Mary -- the ultimate morning-after meal. For the bottom two, the pressure builds in the blind elimination cook-off where they must make avocado toast with a fried egg.
