Floating Ghost Doughnuts

What you need:
12 ounces white candy melting wafers
12 unglazed cake doughnuts
24 large black confetti sprinkles
Tools:
One 4-foot square piece pegboard
Dowels to fit the pegboard
Washable satin-finish black paint
Paintbrush
Wax paper
What to do:
For the board: Paint the pegboard and dowels with 2 coats of washable satin-finish black paint and let stand until dry between each coat, about 30 minutes. Insert the dowels in the pegboard.
For the doughnuts: Line a baking sheet with wax paper. Set aside.
Microwave the candy melting wafers in a microwave-safe bowl at 100 percent power in 30-second intervals, stirring in between each, until melted and smooth.
Dip the doughnuts in the melted candy. Lay the dipped doughnuts candy-side up on the prepared baking sheet.
While the candy is still warm, stick 2 large black confetti sprinkles above the hole on each of the dipped doughnuts. Let stand 15 minutes.
Place the doughnuts on the pegboard by hanging each of them on a dowel.
