Doughnuts are wonderful. Free doughnuts are even better. And every year, National Doughnut Day, which is celebrated annually on the first Friday in June, underscores that inarguable truth.
This year, fried dough’s big day — a food holiday with a history dating back to 1938 — falls on Friday, June 6. And as usual, some favorite doughnut chains will be offering discounts and freebies to help you celebrate. Here are a few deals you doughnut want to miss:

7-Eleven: On June 6, 7Rewards and Speedy Rewards members can grab a classic glazed doughnut for just 50 cents at participating 7-Eleven, Speedway and Stripes locations. And if you miss the National Doughnut Day deal, all is not lost: Those same glazed doughnuts are available for $1 until June 24.
Duck Donuts: The “made-to-order” doughnut chain is celebrating National Doughnut Day by inviting customers to enjoy a free Cinnamon Sugar Donut in-shop, no purchase necessary, on June 6 — in store only. You can also enjoy a one-day-only offer of a half dozen cinnamon sugar doughnuts for just $6, available in-store and online.
Dunkin’: Last year for National Doughnut Day, Dunkin’ offered customers a free classic doughnut of their choice with any beverage purchase. This year, as of press time, they hadn’t yet announced specifics, but promised that, in celebration of the holiday on June 6, it would have “surprises in store.” They’ve since teased a collaboration with Stoney Clover Lane, a luxury travel accessories brand.
Krispy Kreme: On June 6, Krispy Kreme is offering a few hot deals. Anyone can grab any one doughnut for free, no purchase necessary. The chain is also offering guests a dozen Original Glazed Doughnuts for just $2, with the purchase of any dozen at regular price.
LaMar’s Donuts: LaMar’s is celebrating National Doughnut Day 2025 by handing out free Glazed Donuts on June 6 at all locations.

Paris Baguette: In celebration of National Doughnut Day, on June 6, the bakery-cafe chain is offering a free sugar mochi or small twisted doughnut to PB Rewards members with any purchase.
Shipley Do-Nuts: This Texas-based chain is celebrating National Doughnut Day with a month of “freebie Fridays,” beginning on June 6, when you can get a free glazed doughnut with any purchase (while supplies last). On Friday, June 13, you can get an extra doughnut free with any dozen — for a “lucky 13” spin on Friday the 13th — or a free glazed doughnut with any purchase. On Friday, June 20, you can get a classic Shipley glazed with any purchase. And on Friday, June 27, you can get a free fan-favorite glazed doughnut with any purchase. Stan’s Donuts: On June 6, the Chicago-area doughnut-and-coffee chain will give customers a free Chocolate Dipped Donut with any purchase of $2.30 or more, while supplies last. And if your doughnut arrives dipped in pink, you’ll have won free doughnuts for a year!
Voodoo Doughnut: The chain is inviting customers to celebrate National Doughnut Day by pre-ordering Pink Raised Glazed Dozen (“12 light and fluffy raised rings handcrafted with pink dough and covered in our classic, craveable glaze”) for only $10. And on Friday, June 6, customers can get a free doughnut of choice with the purchase of a $10 Pink Raised Glazed Dozen — in store only at participating locations.
