Thanksgiving feasts are great, but you could argue that enjoying the leftovers the next day is even better. There’s nothing like a sandwich made with last night’s turkey and gravy — cold or hot, as you prefer.
Heinz is aiming to make that day-after sandwich easier to assemble this year by introducing Heinz Leftover Gravy, in a convenient squeezable bottle.
“While Heinz Gravy has always been a fan favorite on the Thanksgiving table, we decided to focus our attention on the day after ritual — because we all know leftovers are the best part and our unmistakably rich and smooth gravy makes them that much better,” Jamie Mack, associate director of brand communications for Heinz U.S., says in a press release.

What is Heinz Leftover Gravy?
Inspired by the Moist Maker sandwich from Friends, which fans recreate on TikTok every year, Heinz decided to launch a Leftover Gravy Kit. The limited-edition kit includes “everything you need to turn your Thanksgiving leftovers into a deliciously moist sandwich as good as the feast itself,” the brand promises.
You get a 12-ounce jar of Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy, made with real turkey broth, and a first-ever squeezable bottle labeled Heinz Leftover Gravy, into which you can pour your, yes, leftover gravy. You also get a recipe for what Heinz is calling the “Ultimate Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich.”
It all comes in an attractive box that says, “Open for the best part of Thanksgiving” on the outside and “Proof that leftovers are the main event” on the inside.
“Fans can expect the same flavor and ingredients as the Heinz Homestyle Turkey Gravy they know and love, but now in a more convenient and leftover-friendly format that can turn any day-after sandwich into a Moist Maker,” Heinz says.
How can you get one of the limited-edition Heinz Leftover Gravy Kits?
The Leftover Gravy Kits dropped on Walmart.com on November 18. They were sold out by noon.
“New drops will occur daily through the remainder of the week, so there's still time for fans to get their hands on one,” a spokesperson tells Food Network.
