If you've been watching the World Cup, then you've probably seen the red and yellow penalty cards held up by the referees at different points during the game. In fact, this World Cup has already seen more red cards than the last two combined.
With that in mind, Heinz has made Penalty Packets to help fans join in on the soccer festivities in a tasty and innovative way.
What are Heinz Penalty Packets?
Inspired by the penalty cards used in soccer, Heinz has created its own version for sports fans (and hot dog lovers) to enjoy. The special-edition, large format ketchup and mustard packets are a new offering for the brand, providing twice the amount of sauce than the standard size. Heinz created them after fans "repeatedly" asked for larger format ketchup packets, according to a statement from the brand.
The packets will be sold in sets. Each box includes one ketchup “red card,” one mustard “yellow card” and plenty of additional Heinz ketchup and mustard packets for substitutions.
The best part? They're small enough to keep in a chest pocket for easy access or in a purse for grab-and-go use, whether at a soccer stadium or a barbecue. They'll go perfectly with your TSA-compliant ranch, which Kraft announced after soccer fans from all over the world discovered the classic American condiment.
Where can you get Heinz Penalty Packets?
Looking to get your hands on the Heinz Penalty Packets? They're available exclusively on Walmart.com while supplies last. They're priced at $1.57 per box in a nod to the brand's iconic 57. Be sure to snag a box for yourself, or for a friend who's flown into the U.S. for the World Cup and is interested in trying a classic American condiment — whether for the first or hundredth time.
