Tom Brady Just Put Us Onto a Game-Changing Pizza Topping

You know former NFL quarterback Tom Brady as the G.O.A.T. (Greatest of All Time). Something you might not know? He's a big fan of Nutella — and his favorite way to eat it is seriously surprising.
“I had a lot of that in Italy this year on pizza — it’s like a dessert pizza,” he tells me. “It’s pretty insane." He shows me photos from his trip to the Olympics in Milan: a regular pizza crust topped with Nutella and sliced strawberries. (It does look good.)
And, in speaking of the Olympics, here's something else you might not know: Tom Brady is far from just an American football fan.
“I love football, I love soccer, I love golf, I love boxing, I love basketball,” he says. “Anything with a ball or a puck.”
He always watches the World Cup, and he's excited about this year's tournament, which begins today, June 11.
“I think the World Cup’s pretty great because it’s the biggest sporting event in the world,” he says. “So you’ll have a bunch of fans come together. Everyone wants to have big parties, have fun — eat, drink, listen to music, watch the games.”
He’s planning to attend some games in person this summer. But when it comes to hosting watch parties at home, he prefers to keep the menu simple.
“Chips, guac. I love tacos, pizzas, burgers, hot dogs — the typical American cookout,” he says. “I keep it pretty chill. I want everyone to be relaxed at my parties.”
And, at the end of the day, that's what it's all about.
“I think sports in general are really for people to connect. Obviously, World Cup soccer is that way because all the countries are connecting, but sports are a great way for us all to get together and hang out and enjoy ourselves,” he says. “Lots of drinks. Lots of food. Lots of treats. Just get everyone out there having a great time."

Brady curated a limited-edition box of his top 10 Ferrero products ("the Greatest of All Treats," the brand quips), which he signed for 25 fans at a meet-and-greet event in New York earlier this week. Nutella earned a slot right next to his other Ferrero favorites, Wintergreen and Orange Tic Tacs.
“I eat my Tic Tacs a lot. Those are always in my pocket," he says.
