Does the thought of fall flavors landing in August make you roll your eyes, or does it warm your heart? If it’s the latter, you’ll be thrilled to know that pumpkin spice is hitting just about every major coffee chain over the next couple of weeks. If the former, you might be pleasantly surprised by Dunkin’s fall menu will feature mostly cold drinks and a coffee-forward (and less-egregiously-autumnal) dessert flavor we predicted would be big this year: Tiramisu.

But first, let’s talk pumpkin.

When will the pumpkin spice menu come back to Dunkin’ this year?

Today, Dunkin’ announced that its popular Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte (hot and iced) and pumpkin treats will return to stores starting … today! As of August 19, they will be joined by four new pumpkin-flavored beverages, including a dedicated pumpkin protein latte:

  • Pumpkin Cloud Dunkalatte: Espresso and coffee milk paired with a pumpkin swirl and topped with Sweet Cold Foam and cinnamon sugar.
  • Pumpkin Pie Coffee Chiller: Frozen coffee featuring a pumpkin swirl and Marshmallow Cold Foam drizzle, topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle and cinnamon sugar.
  • Pumpkin Patch Cloud Latte: Espresso and whole milk, plus a pumpkin swirl and vanilla flavor shot, topped with Sweet Cold Foam and cinnamon sugar.
  • Nutty Pumpkin Protein Latte: Espresso and protein milk mixed with pumpkin and hazelnut flavors (with a medium drink boasting 17 grams of protein), available hot or iced.

As for eats, Pumpkin Donuts, Pumpkin Munchkins Donut Hole Treats and Pumpkin Muffins are hitting Dunkin’ bakery cases this week. On the savory side, look out for the return of the Chipotle Hash Brown Wake-Up Wrap and Chipotle Loaded Hash Browns. Maple Sugar Bacon is also making its way back on the menu as Snackin’ Bacon, and in the Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwich and Wake-Up Wrap.

What's on Dunkin’s Tiramisu menu?

Dunkin’s fall menu won’t just be all about pumpkin. The chain is taking a cue from the classic, coffee-spiked Italian dessert tiramisu — layers of coffee-soaked ladyfinger cookies, sweetened mascarpone cheese and cocoa powder — by adding four new tiramisu swirl beverage options for a limited time. They include the following:

  • Tiramisu Cloud Latte: Espresso and whole milk with a tiramisu swirl, topped with Marshmallow Cold Foam and hot chocolate powder.
  • Tiramisu Shakin’ Espresso: Double shot of espresso with tiramisu swirl and oatmilk.
  • Tiramisu Marshmallow Matcha: Matcha with a tiramisu swirl and whole milk, topped with Marshmallow Cold Foam and hot chocolate powder.
  • Tiramisu Protein Latte: Espresso and protein milk with a tiramisu swirl (with a medium featuring 17 grams of protein), available hot or iced.

Additionally, tiramisu swirl will be available as an addition to any hot or cold beverage on Dunkin’s regular menu.

What do Dunkin’s new tiramisu drinks and pumpkin drinks taste like?

I tried a few of the pumpkin drinks ahead of the return this week and was most impressed by the very bright, pumpkin-y and creamy Iced Pumpkin Patch Cloud Latte and the Iced Nutty Pumpkin Protein Latte, which reminded me of a cross between pecan and pumpkin pies.

I also got an a sneak peek of the Iced Tiramisu Cloud Latte and, of all the fall flavors I tried, it was my favorite, with that rich dark cocoa flavor and creamy notes from the Marshmallow Cold Foam, plus that strong hit of coffee flavor from the espresso and tiramisu swirl. It’s decadent without being too sweet and doesn’t scream sweater weather like so many apple and pumpkin flavors do.

The Tiramisu menu will be available for a limited time, so indulge while you can.

What Refreshers are on Dunkin’s fall menu?

Dunkin’ has two fruit-forward Refresher options with a bit of seasonal flair.

First, there’s the Berry Clementine Refresher, with berry and clementine flavors along with your “choice of green tea, black tea, lemonade, oatmilk, protein milk or sparkling water.” I tried it with sparkling water and enjoyed the citrus tartness of the clementine rounded out by the juicy berry flavor.

There’s also the Berry Daydream Refresher, which has the same base as the Berry Clementine Refresher, but it's “mixed with oatmilk and topped with Sweet Cold Foam” for a richer, mellower treat.

What is Dunkin’s Alix Earle meal deal?

This fall, Dunkin’ has also teamed with social media influencer and soon-to-be reality TV star Alix Earle to launch Alix’s Earle-y Riser Meal. According to Dunkin’s announcement, the limited-time offer “includes a frothy Shakin’ Espresso with sugar-free vanilla and almondmilk, a Sausage, Egg and Cheese Hash Brown Wake-Up Wrap and three assorted Munchkins Donut Hole Treats.”
