I'd consider myself a Chipotle superfan since I enjoy a bowl at least once a week. Now, I'll be the first to say that it does add up over time, but that still doesn't stop me and the millions of other fans of the brand. We need our burritos with black beans, sour cream, corn, queso, hot honey chicken and guacamole.

If you've ever dreamed of getting free Chipotle, then now is your chance. The chain is rolling out buy-one-get-one (BOGO) deals and special offers to celebrate back-to-school season — and we have everything you need to know on how to save this summer.

What is Chipotle's School Spirit BOGO deal?

On August 20, guests wearing school apparel or accessories to Chipotle can receive a BOGO entree offer from 3 p.m. to close (local time) at participating Chipotle restaurants. If you're a student, you can wear your school's apparel. Or, if you've long since graduated, you can even dig your old college hoodie or ballcap out of the closet and put it to good use.

"Back-to-school season is all about showing your school spirit and getting back into the routines that make the week feel a little easier," Stephanie Perdue, senior vice president of brand marketing at Chipotle, says in a press release. "Whether you're repping your school or resetting with Chipotle on a Sunday, these offers are about meeting our guests in the moments that matter to them with real food and great value."

The BOGO promotion is limited to five free entrees per check and is subject to availability, and it may only be used by the customer wearing school apparel or accessories. It's only redeemable in-restaurant only and at participating U.S. locations.

What are Chipotle Sundays?

Aside from the BOGO deal, Chipotle is helping fans ward off those Sunday scaries with the opportunity to snag a free entree. The idea was inspired by social media videos from people who shared that they get Chipotle on Sundays as a way to ease into the week ahead, since it's already prepared and ready to enjoy.

With that in mind, the first few weeks of the school year can be stressful, and Chipotle wants customers to take a load off. For three consecutive Sundays starting on August 23, customers can order two or more entrees in the Chipotle app, or on Chipotle.com or Chipotle.ca, and receive one free entree with the code SUNDAYS. Think of it this way: If you have three people in your household, then you only need to pay for two meals.

This deal is valid on August 23, August 30 and September 6 after 3 p.m. local time.
