What’s your favorite holiday? Sure, Halloween and Thanksgiving have their charms, but for caffeine fiends, National Coffee Day probably ranks right up there.
Every year on September 29, we celebrate the beloved bean nationwide. This year, that date falls on a Monday — the day of the week we generally clutch our coffee cups most fervently.
And this year, as in others, many chains and coffee purveyors are offering eye-opening deals and freebies to help you celebrate coffee’s big day. Here are 27 deals that may help fill your cup.

Atlas Coffee Club: Atlas Coffee Club, which offers a subscription for coffee from a different country each month, is giving away a free bag of coffee or pods for this year’s National Coffee Day. You can get a 12-ounce bag of premium, single-origin coffee, or pods for Keurig or Nespresso, free with any subscription. (You pay shipping.) Beyond Juicery + Eatery: Beyond Juicery + Eatery is celebrating National Coffee Day on September 29 with an all-day happy hour. From open to close, guests can get $2 off any of the chain’s functional coffee and matcha drinks. Use the code “MOOD” to redeem the offer (available in person and online).
BIGGBY Coffee: BIGGBY Coffee is celebrating National Coffee Day with a $1 brewed coffee deal — 16 ounces, hot or iced — at participating locations.
Burger King: On National Coffee Day, September 29, Burger King’s Royal Perks members can grab a free Medium Iced Coffee with a purchase of $1 or more.

Cafe Aroma: On September 29, in honor of National Coffee Day, customers can take 20 percent off sitewide on cafearoma.com with the code “COFFEEDAY.” Also, the first 50 customers to purchase Cafe Aroma Especial (“a bold, premium whole bean espresso blend”) that day will receive a free Cafe Aroma-branded hat.
CC’s Coffee House: On National Coffee Day, September 29, My CC’s Rewards members can snag a small cold brew or fresh-brewed coffee for free. You can sign up to become a loyalty member here.
Chike: Chike Nutrition, which calls itself the “Original Protein Coffee & Tea Company,” is offering 25 percent off all 14-serving bags of its ready-to-shake protein iced coffee (containing 20 grams of protein, 2 shots of brewed espresso and 1 gram of sugar) on its Amazon Storefront from September 27 through September 30, in celebration of National Coffee Day.
Circle K: On Monday, September 29, Circle K is offering customers one free medium hot or iced coffee — no purchase required — at participating locations and via the Circle K app. To claim the deal, download the app and redeem a coupon or Inner Circle Reward.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf: On Sunday, September 28, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf is kicking off its National Coffee Day celebration by offering Loyalty Members a Buy One, Get One Free deal on any beverage from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Then, on Monday, September 29, National Coffee Day, all customers can enjoy a large beverage for $5; the deal is available all day. Both offers may be claimed once per customer.
Dunkin’: On Monday, September 29, Dunkin’ Rewards members can get a free medium hot or iced coffee when they make a purchase through the Dunkin’ app. The National Coffee Day deal excludes Cold Brew and Nitro Cold Brew and is limited to one per member.
Dunn Brothers Coffee: On September 29, Dunn Brothers Coffee will be offering all guests a free small brewed coffee for National Coffee Day. No loyalty account is necessary.
EG America: The convenience store giant is offering its SmartRewards members a free hot or iced coffee, any size, on September 29. The offer is available at Cumberland Farms, Turkey Hill, Kwik Shop, Loaf ’N Jug, Fastrac, Minit Mart, Quik Stop, Tom Thumb and Certified Oil stores.
Eight O’Clock Coffee: Eight O’Clock Coffee company is celebrating National Coffee Day with a deal offering 15 percent off of orders $75 or more on eightoclock.com, when you use the code “GR8COFFEE.” The offer is valid September 23 through September 30.

Bagels is celebrating National Coffee Day this year by offering its rewards members one free brewed hot or iced coffee (any size) with any online or in-app purchase on September 29. Honey Dew: On Monday, September 29, Honey Dew is marking National Coffee Day by offering $2 hot or iced coffee of any size through the Honey Dew App. No purchase is necessary to claim the deal — just visit a participating location.

Icelandic Provisions: In partnership with Iceland coffee roastery Te & Kaffi, Icelandic Provisions is marking National Coffee Day by bringing a “taste of Iceland’s coffee culture to the U.S. — pairing [Iceland’s] most beloved dairy tradition (skyr) with its equally beloved daily ritual (coffee).” The skyr (thick, creamy Icelandic yogurt) brand is offering a free Cold Brew Coffee skyr cup to anyone who signs up here.
Krispy Kreme: On Saturday, September 27 through Monday, September 29, Krispy Kreme is marking National Coffee Day by offering customers an Original Glazed dozen for $1 with the purchase of any dozen at regular price. Also on September 29, anyone can get a free medium hot or iced coffee and a free doughnut of their choice when visiting participating Krispy Kreme shops. No purchase is necessary to enjoy the deal.
La Colombe: La Colombe is giving away two café favorites this National Coffee Day: On September 29, customers can get a free 12-ounce drip Corsica coffee or a free 16-ounce Oatmilk Draft Latte in all La Colombe cafés.

Paris Baguette: From September 27 through September 29, in celebration of National Coffee Day, Paris Baguette is offering its PB Rewards members a free handcrafted medium hot or iced coffee, made with Lavazza beans, with any purchase.
Peet’s: For National Coffee Day this year, Peet’s is launching a new subscription-style Cold Brew Pass that, for $30, entitles Peetnik Rewards members one Medium Cold Brew per day for 30 consecutive days. The limited-time pass, which can be used at participating Peet’s locations, is available for purchase through September 30. Also, as part of its celebration, Peet’s is offering a sitewide promotion of 25 percent off, from September 29 to October 1.
PJ’s Coffee: On Friday, September 29, PJ’s is treating its customers to a free 16-ounce cold brew. Order through the PJ’s Coffee app to get the freebie.
Sheetz: The restaurant and convenience chain is celebrating National Coffee Day with a special offer for My Sheetz Rewardz loyalty program members: a free self-serve coffee (hot or iced, any size) with any purchase, from September 29 through October 1 at all Sheetz locations. The limited-time deal is restricted to one redemption per member and is not valid with purchases of fuel, alcohol, cigarettes, lottery items, half-gallon and gallon milk, financial or prepaid cards or Sheetz gift cards.

Shipley Do-Nuts: The chain is celebrating National Coffee Day this year by launching a Cold Brew Donut. “This first-of-its-kind treat combines the rich, bold flavor of cold brew coffee with Shipley’s signature fresh-made daily classic buttermilk cake donut, finished with its iconic glaze,” the brand says in a press release. Containing 56 milligrams of caffeine (about two-thirds of what you’d get in an eight-ounce cup of coffee), the Cold Brew Donut will be available, while supplies last, for two weeks only — from Friday, September 26 through Friday, October 10 — priced at $1.99 for one, $5 for three or $9.99 for six.
And on National Coffee Day itself — Monday, September 29 — Shipley Do-Nuts is offering its loyalty members a free Cold Brew Donut or iconic Original Glazed with the purchase of any coffee, at select locations. You can snag the one-day freebie in-store and online, while supplies last, when you scan the Sweet Rewards loyalty app.
Whataburger: You can grab a free 16-ounce hot or iced coffee and, if you’d like, customize it with vanilla, caramel or sweet cream all day on September 29. No purchase is necessary to get this National Coffee Day freebie. The promotion is available through the Whataburger App or online.
