Whether it’s date night or happy hour, there’s really no cocktail quite like a martini. Briny, savory and undeniably elegant, drinking a martini creates images of sophisticated spies and Old Hollywood with every sip.
Velveeta, though, has something of another image. We think of Velveeta when we want to make a really melty cheese sauce for our mac and cheese or a perfect topper for our nachos. But we’d not necessarily think of it as elegant!
Until now, maybe. Velveeta has created its own take on the classic martini, and it’s like nothing we’ve seen before. The Veltini is made with Velveeta infused vodka, olive brine and vermouth, and is garnished with a cheese drip and a cocktail pick of Velveeta stuffed olives and Jumbo Velveeta Shells and Cheese.

While the concept of this cocktail may take some getting used to, it’s not so strange to have cheese in your olives that garnish your martini. Why not shift the focus and make the martini more about the cheese than the olives? It’s a cheese lover’s dream come true!
This cocktail is available at select BLT locations nationwide for a limited time during the golden hours of 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
