Chipotle Chile Rub

1/2 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup chili pepper

1/2 cup coarse salt

2 tablespoons onion salt

2 tablespoons garlic salt

2 tablespoons celery salt

2 tablespoons black pepper

2 tablespoons mustard powder

1 tablespoon chipotle chili powder (can substitute with 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper and 1 teaspoon hickory smoke salt)


  1. Combine ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Transfer mixture to a sealed container. This rub can be stored in the freezer for several months.
