Aldi’s $8 Stanley Tumbler Dupe Returns to Shelves
And it’s bigger than before.

Remember the Stanley cup craze? Of course you do. Well, we do, anyway.
We’ve documented Stanley's rise. We’ve witnessed the lengths to which fans will go to get their hands on their favorite models (crime). We’ve put the Quencher through rigorous tests and found that it (mostly) passes. We’ve even reviewed our favorite dupes, to get us all through the (many) times when the real deal is out of stock.
Well, friends, another such dupe is making a grand return to shelves. Starting tomorrow, Aldi will once again sell a tumbler that closely resembles Stanley’s IceFlow Flip Straw model. For just $8, this glorious stainless-steel drinking vessel can be yours.
Aldi has been selling Stanley knockoffs of various shapes and sizes since 2023, according to a blog called Aldi Reviewer. The first was a copy of Stanley’s Quencher H2.0 Flowstate Tumbler, sold for $10 compared to $45 for the original model, at the time. The blogger reported that the Aldi cup kept water cold for eight hours, but hot water warped the lid despite the label’s promise to handle heat. Whoops.
Since then, Aldi has tinkered with its tumblers. It’s released several iterations of the Quencher and other Stanley models since then and improved its designs, especially for cold drinks, according to Aldi Reviewer.
In May, Aldi came out with the 24-ounce Adventuridge Insulated Water Bottle With a Straw, for a short time. Now, the cup is returning to stores as the Adventuridge Stainless Steel Flip Top Straw Tumbler, and this time it holds 30 ounces of liquid.
This tumbler is technically dishwasher safe, though Aldi recommends handwashing. The double wall vacuum insulation is designed to keep hot and cold beverages at their optimal temperatures. The top has a straw that flips up, for convenient sipping, and a handle that flips up, for convenient toting — much like the Stanley original. You can get it in three colorways: purple with a pink top, teal with a blue top and navy with a white top.
Is this a perfect replica of the IceFlow? No. Stanley’s model comes in over two dozen colors and four sizes (14, 20, 30 and 40 ounces). It’s made partially of recycled plastics and can keep ice frozen for 32 hours or longer. Aldi makes no such promises.
Does the Adventuridge technology work as well as Stanley’s? Probably not, but honestly, do you really need to keep your beverage ice-cold for a day and a half? For the average person who just wants to sip chilled water without constantly getting up for refills, the Adventuridge tumbler should get the job done — for a fraction of Stanley’s price.
