College football season is about to kick off. It officially starts August 23. So, football fans, you’ll want to start gathering up your game-day gear: your jerseys, sweatshirts, hats, blankets, travel mugs, lucky socks and other paraphernalia with your team’s name and/or logo on them. Because why not wear your team spirit with pride?

This year, you can also show your enthusiasm for your team on your beer can. Yes, you can. Bud Light is bringing back its limited-edition college team cans, featuring 28 of the college teams the brand sponsors.

Designed for fans to enjoy at their homes, local bars or tailgate parties, the cans include vibrant team colors and logos and “new stripes” celebrating teams across the country. These teams include University of Alabama, University of Texas, Kansas State University, Coastal Carolina University, Oklahoma State University, Ohio State University, Louisiana State University, University of Florida, University of Kentucky, North Dakota State University and Texas Tech University, among others.

Each can also features a QR code offering team fans a shot at “exclusive giveaways” from the beginning of the 2025 college football season through October 15.

“The next-level excitement, passion and energy that college football fans bring to the table continues to raise the bar higher for us as a brand,” Todd Allen, senior vice president of marketing at Bud Light, says in a news release. “Bud Light has a decades-long history of delivering fans unforgettable football experiences, laugh-out-loud content and great-tasting beer every season.”

And you thought face paint and a giant foam finger was the best way to show your pride.
