I Tried Hailey Bieber’s $17, TikTok-Famous Skin-Glow Smoothie
You can definitely make it at home!
From adding a slew of new products to your skincare line-up to overhauling your makeup routine, TikTok influencers and celebrities have given us more than enough to unpack in the quest to perfect our skin. But the latest is definitely the most delicious glowy-skin trend we’ve seen yet. Created in collaboration with Hailey Beiber and Los Angeles’ luxury grocery chain Erewhon, the $17 Strawberry Glaze Skin Smoothie boasts an impressive line-up of products that just might convince you to look past that price point.
Included in this limited-edition smoothie is almond milk, strawberries, vanilla collagen, hyaluronic acid, coconut cream, sea moss gel, avocado, maple syrup, dates and strawberry glaze, which Erewhon describes as, “wellness supporting ingredients.” And while you might see the combination of sea moss gel, avocado and various fruits as potentially overwhelming, I’m happy to announce it’s actually pretty delicious. The combination of almond milk, collagen and coconut cream gives it a thick, almost whipped consistency and, in my opinion, the drink tasted a lot like a strawberry milkshake. Did it give me a Hailey-Bieber-level glow? Hard to say. Did it clear my skin and make me feel like an off-duty model? Not exactly. But it was definitely filling enough to act as a meal and gave me enough energy to sustain an afternoon of tennis and shopping, so I’ll call it a win!

While $17 is a lot to spend on a smoothie, it falls into Erewhon’s typical price point, where smoothies tend to range from $11 to $21. This smoothie is only available in Southern California for a limited time, but plenty of recipes have popped up on the Internet showing tips on how to recreate it at home — and most likely save you some money in the process.
This collaboration comes at the same time as the launch of Bieber’s skincare line, rhode skin, and a portion of smoothie proceeds will, “benefit Robb School Memorial Fund to provide assistance to families impacted by the [Uvalde, Texas] tragedy,” according to Bieber’s Instagram story.
