As a born and raised New Yorker, I know a thing or two about bagels and pizza. If you put both of those together, then I'm an expert. Now, when I received word that Papa Johns was collaborating with PopUp Bagels on limited-edition schmears, I was hooked.

For a limited time, Papa Johns is collaborating with PopUp Bagels on not one, but two limited-time schmears that taste like classics from the pizza chain that fans know and love. Spoiler alert: They take the definition of a pizza bagel to the next level.
Here's a bit more on the two flavors you'll be able to get your hands on:
Pepperoncini Cream Cheese Schmear: Inspired by Papa Johns signature side pepperoncinis (which come complimentary with every pizza), this cream cheese schmear has a mild pickle tang, subtle heat and a smooth texture. It's perfect for a kick to start your morning.
Garlic Butter Schmear: There's nothing more delicious than dipping your pizza crust in Papa Johns' signature garlic sauce. This schmear draws inspiration from this beloved signature garlic sauce and packs a punch. It's creamy and slightly salty, and offers a balanced garlic flavor.
Where can you get the Papa Johns x PopUp Bagels schmears?
You'll want to run, not walk, to your local Papa Johns over the next two weeks to get these schmears. The Pepperoncini Cream Cheese Schmear will be available starting tomorrow, August 27, followed by the Garlic Butter Schmear on September 3.
