Takis Is Expanding Its Lineup (And It's Not With More Tortilla Chips)

If you're like me, then you might pick up several bags of Takis on every trip to the grocery store. There's just something about these crunchy rolled tortilla chips that just hit the spot — Crunchy Fajitas is my personal favorite flavor, however, you really can't go wrong with any of the six varieties.
Now, Takis is expanding its lineup to include a product that's not a chip, but a condiment. Enter: Takis Fuego Hot Sauce.
What is Takis hot sauce?
Takis is giving fans a new way to take their chips and snacks to the next level with hot sauce. Takis Fuego Hot Sauce is inspired by the brand's signature Hot Chili Pepper & Lime flavor and comes with an “extreme” heat level. You can use it to give your Takis an added kick or drizzle some onto tacos, burritos or eggs.
Where can you buy Takis Fuego Hot Sauce?
Now, you won't find Takis hot sauce at your local grocery store right off the bat. It will launch exclusively at Family Dollar starting on June 8 in a five-ounce bottle. It will also be available on Walmart's website later in June.
There's no word on whether Takis' hot sauce lineup will expand to include more flavors down the road (hopefully some inspired by Dragon Sweet Chili and Pickle Punch), but we'll keep an eye out.
