In Santa Fe, N.M., Tyler asks the teams to create a dish using New Mexican chiles. The GD guys don't win the challenge, so with $150 worth of seed money in hand, they prepare for two days of selling.

The guys have trouble finding a spot to park, and later Mark gets lost on his way to the Plaza. Facing their first Speed Bump to sell out their menu without restocking, the boys end up in the bottom two, barely surviving.

In Amarillo, Texas, Tyler challenges all of the teams to a steak-eating contest, and GD Bro earns $250 in seed money. This week the teams must feature a steak special; there's a $500 prize for the team that sells the most.

What the teams don't know is that there's also a taste challenge secretly going on in the background, for an additional $500. The GD guys don't win the taste challenge, but they do win $500 for selling the most steak specials, and they come in first place for the first time.

Moving on to Tulsa, Okla., Tyler surprises the teams with an old-fashioned marketing challenge. Without the use of social media, the teams must create a roadside attraction. Unfortunately the GD guys' Cali beach bash theme doesn't draw the customers they'd anticipated.

Armed with $25 chips, customers start lining up behind the trucks, but the guys don't get as much business as the other two teams. After the challenge they head to Guthrie Green, but even reducing their prices doesn't bring in customers. "It really slowed down for us," Kevin reveals.
